So... I found out I have no rear swaybar. There are kits from Belltech and Hellwig. Which one should I go with? Hellwig is a bit more expensive (not sure how much), is it worth it?

Why do you think you need one? Trying to get more turnin?

Just go for the belltech one, as it is less expensive yet still a trusted brand.

Yup. It’s pretty wallowy. I could handle it, but now that I know there’s something I can do about it, I want that thing. Frankly I’d like quick disconnects so I don’t have to unbolt them every time I want to offroad, but meh, if I can’t find any I’ll try to fab my own.

I’m leaning that way too.

Are any of the options adjustable? Being able to set it up the way you need it is nice.

I think the end links on either one are adjustable, but I could be wrong. Other than that, no.

The end links will always be adjustable. What you’re looking for is a sway bar with more than one hole to attach the end link to. I’m sure that any sway bar is better than no sway bar, but it’s nice to have the ability to adjust it.

Yeah, there’s no such animal available, unfortunately.

Another question:
In the installation guide they say they don’t recommend using ramps for installation. Is that because it could slip off, or because the suspension should be unloaded? If it’s just the risk of it falling I have enough clearance to install it without ramps or jacks. It be a lot less of a hassle.

You want both wheels planted on the ground when installing it. It probably won’t matter too much in this case, but if the wheels hang down to different lengths, you will be installing the sway bar already twisted, meaning that it will have greater sway damping on one side than the other.

Works for me, then. Thanks.
